Ajax will play on Sunday 12:30 an away match against SC Cambuur.

Ajax and SC Cambuur until now only played 12 official matches against one another, because Cambuur only spent a small part of its history in the Eredivisie. Ajax won 9 of the meetings, played 1 draw and lost 2 times.

Last season Ajax was able to win the away match by a small margin, 1-2, while later in the season the match in the ArenA ended in 1-1.

The first time that Ajax and Cambuur met was also the match with most goals between the two clubs. In season 1960-61 Ajax at home with 7-4 in the semi final of the Dutch cup.

On average Ajax scores a little less than 3 goals per match against Cambuur, while Cambuur scores almost 1.5 goal per match against Ajax. So far a match never ended in a goalless draw.
