Transfer Cost and Income During the Period Frank de Boer
05/14/2016
We have recently added an overview of the Transfer Costs and Revenues of the past 15 years based on the annual financial results of Ajax.
Based on the overview it is clear that also during the period Frank de Boer, especially during the last seasons, there was also significant spending on transfers, so we are basically back where we started after five and a half years. Meanwhile, the bank account of Ajax is much more positive.
If we look at the income from the various player tranfers during the period Frank de Boer, it gives a much more stable picture than before. The outliers are the 2011-12 season with 13.6 million and the 2014-15 season with 27.3 million, while the other seasons had transfer incomes between 21.8 and 25.2 million. A note should be made regarding the current season, the first half of the season Ajax sold players for only 7 million. Unless Ajax is able to sell more before June 30, it seems that this season could well be the least in terms of transfer income.
